By using Wisptype, you agree to these terms. They are designed to protect both you and our commitment to professional excellence.
Software License
Wisptype grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application. The software is provided "as is," and while we strive for perfect accuracy, transcription results should always be reviewed for professional use.
1. Acceptable Use
You may not use Wisptype for any illegal activities, including unauthorized recording of conversations in jurisdictions where consent is required. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the software complies with local laws.
2. Subscription & Payments
Wisptype paid features are billed on a recurring basis. Plus and Pro support monthly and annual billing. You may cancel your subscription through your account dashboard, with access continuing according to the billing state shown there.
3. Meeting Transcript Sync
Account-synced meeting transcripts are optional and must be enabled by you before transcript artifacts are uploaded from the desktop app. You retain ownership of your meeting transcript content. Wisptype may process and store synced meeting artifacts only to provide the sync, download, retention, and deletion features you request. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions required to record, transcribe, store, sync, export, or share meeting content.
4. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the Wisptype application remain with Wisptype. You retain ownership of content you process with the application, subject to any third-party services you explicitly use through cloud workflows.
5. Limitation of Liability
Wisptype shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the software, including data loss or inaccuracies in transcription results.
